Mobile order management for better overview and faster invoicing

He is operations manager at Mandal Kjøleservice, which has been using GSGroup’s mobile order management since 2012. In the past, service technicians had to deliver and document everything on paper. Order forms and other documents then had to be entered manually into the system. Handyman has changed that, and digitization has provided growth, says John Selfors, highlighting the service module as an important tool for the company.

„The service module has given us a complete overview of customers and tasks. All scheduled tasks are on the calendar, and that means we can structure our workday much better. We also benefit greatly from image documentation,“ explains John Selfors, who believes that GSGroup’s technology lives up to its responsibility to make daily life easier.

Better overview thanks to digitization

„For example, agreements used to be managed in a huge Excel spreadsheet. All customers have different needs and wishes as to when and how often maintenance should be performed. It goes without saying that it is difficult to keep track of everything here. Now the system is digitized and it’s easy to keep track of upcoming, scheduled and completed tasks,“ he says.

And since all information, materials and checklists are in one system, invoicing has also become faster.

„We’ve gotten faster at sending out invoices. With a few keystrokes, the service technician can send worksheets to colleagues in the office for approval. Handyman is integrated with our financial system and issues invoices immediately after the information is approved.

Handyman – standard software for optimizing field service processes

The Handyman order management tool is one of the most important tools for craftsmen and service technicians in Scandinavia. The tool provide an overview of scheduled tasks, quotes can be created on the spot, invoices and hours can be recorded – all via smartphone, tablet or computer.
