The new version 2.0.0.44 of the Handyman Field Service Management Extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is now available in Microsoft Appsource.

Now you can exclude certain work type codes from updating orders in BC. This is particularly helpful if part of the time registration made by the service technician shall not update the order in Business Central. A typical use case would be: The field service technician registers in the mobile app travel time and travel distance. This allows to track and report on travel distances in Handyman Office. In Business central KM are not invoiced as travel is invoiced via travel time only. The new functionality automatically excludes the worktype “KM” registered in Handyman from updating the order in BC. If need is the BC-user can overrule this. This feature makes it easier to process orders and delivers better quality and consistency in order processing.
