Minor service release of the Handyman Field Service Management Extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Contract handling

  • There is an ongoing effort to make it easier to use Handyman service contracts together with BC. As part of this exercise we show the Handyman contract number on BC orders/projects after the update order procedure has been performed.

Export automation

  • Some users struggle to keep basic data in sync between Handyman and BC. For that purpose we have added a new setting for export automation. When the automation task is performed (be it manually via batch processing or as an automated task) export of changed basic data is performed automatically.

Improvements to inbound order handling 

  • Inbound order status: Order, invoice and project lists in BC have a boolean field indicating that non-processed records from Handyman exist. This field has been optimized to improve performance in BC.
  • Inbound order summary: Depending on the data loaded the page could show an error. This has been fixed.
