Business Central Interface Version 2.0.0.57

This release of the Handyman Field Service Management Extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central offers greater visibility into order status and delivers full functionality for updating needed by date of items.

Handyman order status

• For many users, the Handyman order status has become the central pivot point for managing orders. 
• The new version makes the Handyman order status even easier to use as it uses color codes in-line with BC standards. For example rejected orders are shown in red, while completed orders are shown in green.
• This change affects, all types of BC documents that can be connected to Handyman orders: Sales orders/invoices, serivce orders/invoices and projects. 
• At the same time, we fixed a bug that caused the order status for rejected orders to not always be shown correctly.

Needed by date

• In the previous version, we implemented functionality that updates the „needed by date“ field in service lines using the order’s planned start date from Handyman. This feature was only available to selected customers.
• Now the feature is generally available and can be activated via a new setting.

Improvements and fixes 

• Minor adjustments to labels and tooltips.
• The ability to use the „Main Order“ field in the Handyman extension to update the same BC order with multiple Handyman orders has been discontinued in the standard extension. However, it may still be used in custom extensions.
