Business Central Interface Version 2.0.0.58

This release of the Handyman Field Service Management Extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central offers greater visibility into order status and delivers full functionality for updating needed by date of items.

Preview Handyman reports

  • You do no longer need to download Handyman reports as pdf in order to see them.
  • From this version on, reports are opened by default in preview
  • The functionality depends on the BC version in use.

Planned dates for service orders

  • We added a new setting defining whether planned order dates should be filled as in previous versions or not.
  • If the new setting is on, then planned order start date and planned order finish date are not set and the order can be planned in Handyman without restrictions.
  • If the setting is active, planned start and end dates of the service order in BC are exported to Handyman. Handyman planned start date is set to the starting date/time from BC. If there is an earlier date set in response date / time then this is used. Handyman planned finish date is set to the finishing date/time from BC. If finishing time is not set it is set to the same value as start time + 2 seconds.

Improvements and fixes

  • Fixed a problem resulting in export of store movements for preview postings done in BCs
