Business Central Interface Version 2.0.0.74

4Version 2.0.0.74 of the Handyman Field Service Management Extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central has been released. This is a minor service release focusing on usability improvements and bugfixes. It is covering these points:

  • The Handyman Service Task Report has been added to the list of Handyman reports that can be opened from BC.
  • Update order will not fail any more, if the Main Participant is not a resource in BC.
  • Work Type Codes can now be exported right from the Handyman Salary Code Setup page without going back to the list.
  • For Handyman API we added an action to perform a connection test in the Handyman Settings page.
  • Service item export is now exporting the customer if it has not yet been exported to Handyman before.
  • In the past, invalid non-printable characters have occasionally caused issues in the Handyman import. This is why we remove now carrige-return and line-feed before exporting the content to Handyman for many text fields. The BC pages do not allow to enter these characters. However, they might still occur in the system because of unclean data import.
  • The extension warns the user if he tries to post a document for which unprocessed data exists in inbound orders. This message has been shown in cases where it was not applicable. This has been fixed.
  • In case the old, obsolete automatic export of store movements is used, a message was shown after each export. This is now hidden. This is not relevant if the recommended configuration (job queue or manual export) is used.
