Business Central Interface Version 1.0.0.36
Version 1.0.0.36 of the interface to Business Central released: Flexible item management
The version adds new options of handling items from Business Central in the Handyman field service management software:
In many cases, field service technicians should not have access to all items from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC): Only a subset of items is relevant for the field mobile workers. The new version of the extension allows to select which items from BC shall be available in Handyman. This makes it easier for the field service technician to find the right item in his app (Handyman Mobile).
At the same time export of item categories has improved. This feature allows Handyman users to browse through item categories organized in a tree-view. Technicians that do not know the exact description or number of the item they are looking for will love this feature. Identification of the right item has never been easier.
For service orders, the functionality to set a Fault Reason Code is now supported by the Handyman Field Service Management Extension: Fault Reason Codes entered in Handyman Mobile by the service-technician are now available in the ERP for for reporting and analysis.
