Using interfaces with Handyman

The most common is integration with an order management system. This is typically an enterprise resource planning system, an ERP system, a service management system, a ticket system or a CRM system. With such an integration, orders are created in the leading system (e.g. ERP system) as usual. Now, instead of printing the jobs for the technicians, they are handed off to Handyman and routed to the technician’s mobile device. Data recorded by the technician on his mobile device (e.g. time recording, recording of used material) is automatically transferred to the leading system. There they can be processed further, for example for invoicing or wage calculation. So Handyman not only handles the synchronization of the mobile device, but also keeps the leading order management system always in sync.

Key advantages of integration

  • Continuous, digital process chain without paper,
    without media discontinuity
  • Simple, secure invoicing: all data for invoicing
are available in the ERP system
  • ERP processes do not need to be adapted
  • Handyman complements the ERP system, the way of working in the
Office does not need to be rearranged

Integration also possible individually

You already work with an ERP system or an enterprise resource planning program? Simply pair Handyman with your existing systems. This saves you duplicate entries and creates end-to-end service processes – without media discontinuities, from order creation to deployment planning and processing in field service, right through to approval, invoicing and financial accounting. For many of the popular software packages (e.g. Lexware, MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, SAP, SelectLine), a standard integration for Handyman is available.

These standard interfaces can be adapted to individual requirements if necessary. Individual interfaces can also be implemented for other systems. GSGroup makes use of prefabricated modules and Handyman’s standard interfaces. This means that even individual interfaces can be implemented promptly and with limited effort.

Field service management app for your ERP system

Handyman is often used as field service management software for popular ERP systems: For example, Handyman is often used as a service management extension of Lexware – mobile with an app. The Handyman Mobile app is particularly comprehensively integrated into the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system. There are also interfaces to SAP to process mobile service orders with Handyman. Diverse customers also use Handyman with an interface as a service management software and mobile solution for Selectline or as a mobile app for orgaMAX.
